Chocolate Hazelnut Protein Balls

Ingredients
- ½ cup of The Roasted Nut’s Chocolate Hazelnut Butter
- ¼ cup plus 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1tbsp water
- 2 cups large flake oats
- 2 scoops (scoop that is included) of chocolate protein powder ( I used Isagenix Dutch Chocolate)
- ¼ cup mini m&m’s or mini chocolate chips
Directions
- Step 1
- In a microwavable bowl or saucepan on the stove, heat maple syrup. 45 seconds on high in the microwave or 2 minutes on low on the stovetop. You must stir maple syrup while it is on the stovetop.
- Step 2
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate hazelnut spread and coconut oil until mixture is blended and smooth.
- Step 3
- Add in protein powder, large flake oats and water. Stir until evenly coated with chocolate mixture.
- Step 4
- Roll into balls about 2 inches round. Use a medium size cookie scoop to make the balls even in size.
- Step 5
- Store the balls in the refrigerator for up to one week. You can freeze the balls in a freezer bag or freezer safe container for 3 months.
